Sustainable Web Design in Suffolk

Hi, I'm Louise Ablard! I'm a website designer and developer based in Ipswich, Suffolk. I believe that great websites can be both visually appealing and kind to the planet.  My passion for problem solving began early, as I was drawn to technical subjects like maths and science. Unsure of which career path to take, I attended the University of York, where I studied maths. This not only provided me with an analytical foundation but also introduced me to my first taste of computer programming with a short course in C++. I enjoyed it, though I had no idea at the time that this would become my true calling.  After moving back home, I started a job with a shipping company, only to quickly realise it wasn't the right fit for me. I then found a position at a software company where I was trained in web development. This role was a much better match, and I stayed for 12 years, growing both professionally and personally.  During that time, I reached several major life milestones - buying our first house, getting engaged and married, having our first child, moving again, and welcoming our second child. As my personal life evolved, I realised I needed a work life balance that better complemented my changing priorities.
